Proshield Foam & Spray contains a surfactant, poloxamer 188, which cleans skin without drying it out, like soap and water. Its fragrance makes patients feel clean while creating a pleasant-scented environment for nurses. The cleanser's solubilizer breaks down dried stool, eliminating a nurse's need to scrub. Its foaming ability helps keep the product on the patient, not the bed sheets.
